The Netherlands, the small country in Europe that is most worthy of Taiwan's learning, is embarking on a new wave of evolution and regards "circular economy" as a new economic engine in the future.

"World" conducted interviews across the ocean and found disruptive business models in this low-lying country such as "rent-to-buy lighting," "mobile phones with swappable cameras," and "buildings with recyclable building materials." Even TSMC, Sinosteel, Xinxing Electronics, Yongguang Chemical, and Shi'an Ranch, which supplies 7-Eleven, are also rushing to embrace the "circular economy."

This new wave of changes has brought about a revolutionary change in the global attitude towards "waste". Is Taiwan ready?
